WRST-FM 90.3 celebrated its 40th birthday on April 20th. Yesterday I had the privilege of interviewing Robert L. "Doc" Snyder on Radio Commentary. Doc founded the station in 1966 and has been the host of "Doc's Jazz City" since that year! The show is now aired on Mondays from 5-6 p.m. on WRST. In the Radio Commentary interview, Doc and I talk a little nostalgia, a little politics, and lots of jazz.Today there was a WRST 40th birthday meet and greet at the New Moon Cafe, and I met Joy Cardin! She's extremely cool.
