Civil Dialogue on Iraq

Take a listen to my Radio Commnetary interview with Jim Hanson, Madison's favorite hawk. It's a good example of how two people who have very different views on Iraq can have a civil dialogue. We need more of that in the mainstream media.

Not only in the media do we need that kind of civility, we need it everywhere. Imagine; at the Easter table being able to completely disagree with your "loud uncle" without fear of a tragic family scene, being able to say "but not our president" to the person with the support our troops yellow ribbon, or giving a warm heartfelt hug to someone making the cold dead hands argument. Wouldn't that be nice?

Tony,

I really enjoyed the show. Does the show happen weekly? Is there a schedule for upcoming shows.

Many thanks to jbrookins and Nate. Nate, Radio Commentary does happen weekly from 6:20 - 7:00 p.m. on WRST in Oshkosh (www.uwosh.edu/wrst). Radio Commentary is a portion of Wild-Eyed Radio, hosted from 5:00 - 6:15 by Bob Roberts, who posted the first comment in this thread.

I don't have a production staff to schedule shows and line up guests, so we don't have a schedule of future shows. However, I do announce the shows on www.tonypalmeri.com and/or on this blog. We also maintain an archive of past shows (go to TonyPalmeri.Com and click the Audio link on the bar at the top).

If you have suggestions for shows, please do forward them on. Best, -Tony
