Winnebago County District 17 Supervisor Jef Hall's County Board Blog is maintaining an archive of voting machine related information. He notes that the County's Legislative Committee will be meeting this coming Monday (5/22) at 9 a.m. at the Coughlin Center. The voting machines are on the agenda! I will be teaching on Monday morning so will not be able to attend. If you are available, please do go to the meeting.
A year ago I argued that real conservatives, real liberals, and real radicals need to work together to protect our constitutional freedoms. If ever there was an issue on which such unification is necessary, it is the issue of maintaining the integrity of our votes.
