Song for the Surge

As the President gets read to foment more death and chaos in Iraq, and wreck more lives and families on all sides, and as the nation's editorial pages remain largely and shamefully silent, perhaps Bob Dylan's "John Brown" should be the new national anthem.

For what it's worth, I thought that Dylan's 1994 MTV Unplugged performance of "John Brown" was his best live work since his collaboration with The Band in the 1970s.
