Doyle Should Boycott Mayor's Breakfast

Gannett reports that Governor Jim Doyle will attend the Oshkosh Mayor's Breakfast on Friday. This is the event at which CESSNA CEO Jack Pelton, recipient of two "degrees" from a diploma mill, will receive the Key to the City. It demeans the office of the governor to endorse an event that turns a blind eye to the kind of behavior that has led to the resignation of at least one other CEO (David Edmondson resigned as CEO of Radio Shack after it was revealed that he lied on his resume--but at least he, unlike Pelton, offered a public apology for his actions.).
