The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (registration required) tells the story of Katherine Jashinski, a 23-year-old soldier from Wautoma seeking conscientious objector status so as to get discharged from the Army. The saddest part of the story is the fact the Ms. Jashinski appears to be receiving no support from her father and only grudging support from her mother.
