Cliff Kurowski Nails It
I must admit that I have not been a big fan of Cliff Kurowski's cartoons in the Sunday Northwestern, but today he absolutely nailed it on the Five Rivers closed meeting imbroglio.
I teach Communication Studies (First Amendment, Classical Rhetoric, Civic Engagement, Rhetoric of Rock Music) at UW Oshkosh. Served two terms on Oshkosh City Council. Originally from Brooklyn, NY.

Do you have permission from the Northwestern to reprint that?
Dear Sarcastic Troll,
I believe my reproduction of the Kurowski cartoon falls under "fair use" guidelines given that I am not making a profit from the reproduction and I am using it for comment and criticism purposes. If the Northwestern disagrees I am sure they will let me know.
As a university professor I'm sure he is using it for educational purposes only, and no doubt Monday's classroom discussions will be facilitated by the properly annotated and non-profit-making use there of. Under sub-section B of the Penile Code and Pursuant to a Bunch of Other Stuff.

Aren't you supposed to ignore trolls? Have you noticed that bloggers who do not agree with you, and who challenge your rhetoric, are dubbed "trolls"?
trolls are a pain in the ass especially if they turn out to be someone you know.....I learned that the hard way....
