UW Oshkosh graduate Barry Weber, the "(Sub)Urban Legend" whose Woody Guthrie/Phil Ochs brand of topical folk music blends progressive political themes with biting wit and satire, has released some new songs. "
Blue Collar Songs For White Collar Anarchists" finds Barry in top form; "I Don't Want Your Millions" (
Track 1), "Gonna Drink This Job Away" (
Track 3), and "Minimum Wage" (
Track 4), are among his best songs ever.
Previous Barry Weber recordings include "
We'll All Get To Heaven If We Get God Drunk" and "
The Bush Song . . . And Other Songs I Shouldn't Sing."
